Gaming content production company WePlay Studios becomes the official partner of the VTuber Awards, the first major industry-wide award show dedicated exclusively to virtual creators. The company contributes to the development of the event format and its technical implementation, including the creation of the Awards’ brand identity, computer graphics, augmented reality elements for broadcast, the content plan realization, creation of side-content about the nominees, the general history of VTubing, and its community.

The VTuber Awards will be held on December 16, 2023, from the WePlay Esports Arena Los Angeles, California, a high-security arena for creating content of any kind and difficulty. At the time of the cooperation announcement, the team was already preparing the extended site for the broadcast, completing the final preparations of the stage design, and creating a virtual set with the elements of augmented and extended reality exclusively for the Awards. The WePlay Studios team will also moderate and conduct the live stream so that viewers enjoy the broadcast of the highest quality and gain the best viewer experience from the first seconds of the expo.

The WePlay team is known among the gaming and esports community for its first-class event production. Since 2022, WePlay Studios has been a strategic partner of One True King, the largest influencer network in the United States. As part of the cooperation, WePlay was responsible for the production of such shows as the OTK Games Expo 2022–2023, Wheel of Chaos, and Esfand’s Draft Night Extravaganza. In 2021, WePlay became the short-list nominee for the Esports Awards as the Creative Team of the Year.
