On June 19, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive esports tournament BLAST Premier 2022 Spring Finals ended. During all five tournament days, the matches were broadcast in more than 20 languages of the world, including Ukrainian. WePlay Esports was the official broadcaster of the tournament in Ukrainian.
According to Esports Charts, the Ukrainian-language broadcast of BLAST Premier 2022 Spring Finals got a record number of viewers at the moment among broadcasts of CS:GO events in Ukrainian — 33,000 people. The final match for the title of the BLAST Premier 2022 Spring Finals champion between teams NAVI and Vitality was recognized as the most-watched — the NAVI roster won.
The broadcast was produced from Ukraine in a homecast format to protect employees and talents. The talents of the Ukrainian-language broadcast of BLAST Premier 2022 Spring Finals were Olesia “Olesami” Denysenko, Aleksandr “Enkanis” Polishchuk, Oleksii “yXo” Maletskyi, and Yuriy “Strike” Tereshchenko.
