WePlay Esports and the MEGOGO media service are pleased to announce the launch of their strategic partnership for 2023. The purpose of the collaboration is to create broadcasts of sports competitions and events in Ukrainian that meet world quality standards.

WePlay Esports became the official production partner of the MEGOGO media service for 2023. Within the cooperation, the sports events the rights to which belong to the media service will be broadcast from the WePlay studios in Kyiv. The WePlay Esports team will also be responsible for the technical support of the studios.

For over 10 years, the WePlay brand has been known for its high-quality esports tournaments and broadcasts. In working on events, the company has collaborated with such leading platforms as DAZN, XSPORT, Fakty ICTV, and others. In 2022, the MEGOGO media service and WePlay Esports became partners for the first time — for the Ukrainian-language broadcasts of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the boxing match between Tyson Fury and Derek Chisora.

The WePlay Esports team has been working for years to ensure that our esports tournaments and broadcasts are considered among the top ones not only in Ukraine but also in the world. Today, having unique experience and knowledge, we are evolving and changing to bring expertise to the entertainment industry as well. A partnership with such a big media service as MEGOGO means a lot to us. I’m sure that together, we’ll be able to take Ukrainian-language broadcasts of sports events to a whole new level!”, comments Maksym Bilonogov, chief visionary officer and general producer of WePlay Esports.

The first joint project within the partnership will be the Ukrainian-language broadcast of the 2022/2023 UEFA Champions League, to be held from the WePlay Esports studios. You can watch the matches in Full HD quality on the MEGOGO Football channels and in the Sports section, with the “Maximum” and “Sports” subscriptions.
