The competition will be held on November 20 in the WePlay Esports Arena Kyiv. As part of the partnership, WePlay Esports and the Compete tournament platform will provide technical support and solutions for the finals.
On November 20, the final of the first official esports event in Ukraine — the Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) esports championship — will take place. The event is organized by the Ukrainian Esports Federation (UESF), founded to promote and develop esports in Ukraine. The WePlay Esports media holding company and the Compete tournament platform will be the technical partners of the event.
The tournament will be held in the WePlay Esports Arena Kyiv. The arena is equipped with cutting-edge technology and is suited to holding esports events of any scale. It has previously accommodated a number of Dota 2, CS:GO, Rocket League, and other esports tournaments.
“This is the first official championship in the history of Ukraine. That’s why we are especially pleased to host it together with our partner WePlay Esports. Now is a very difficult time for LAN tournaments, and it’s twice as difficult to hold high-profile tournaments, but we are always confident in WePlay. See you at the event and let’s hope for some good gameplay and fantastic emotions!” says Anton Markelov, Ukrainian Esports Federation (UESF) CEO.
The Dota 2 and CS:GO final matches will take place in Bo3 format. Two finalists will emerge in each discipline. The total prize pool of the tournament is UAH 1.5 million. You can watch the event broadcast on the official UESF Twitch channels (CS:GO, Dota 2).
