Production company WePlay Studios and Grammy Award-winning producer Larrance “Rance” Dopson establish a collaboration for producing more cultural content aimed to promote diversity and creativity in the entertainment market.
WePlay Studios and Larrance Dopson of 1500 or Nothin’ are happy to announce the start of long-term cooperation. Together, the parties intend to set a new level of diversity in the entertainment industry and shape American culture through joint musical and art projects. WePlay Studios will provide high-quality production facilities and services for cultural and musical initiatives that Larrance Dopson is to launch in the near future. Larrance Dopson is a Grammy Award-winning producer, instrumentalist, and CEO of the 1500 or Nothin' musical ensemble. Larrance is most known for singer Ella Mai’s song “Boo’d Up,” which charted at number one, further winning the Best R&B Song award. Among his latest works is Roddy Rich’s single “The Box,” which spent 11 weeks at the top spot of the US Billboard and brought two of his six Grammy nominations. He’s been a musical director for Usher, Khalid, Jay-Z, Diddy, Snoop Dogg, Migos, Rick Ross, and others. Larrance has shared the stage with many top-tier acts worldwide and has led the Soul Train Music Awards as Musical Director since 2015.
WePlay Studios is a Ukrainian content production company that creates high-quality brand activations and shows in the entertainment industry. The company is known for producing top-notch live streams and events for esports fans, gaming enthusiasts, and lifestyle audiences. In 2022, WePlay Studios created the official music video for American composer Diane Warren and Ukrainian pop diva Tina Karol’s song “One Nation Under Love.” The WePlay team, using remote production technology, filmed in parallel in Kyiv and Los Angeles. The project was implemented in record time, two weeks: filming took 36 hours, and video editing only two days.
