Revamped format, dates, and other details.

The WePlay! Esports team is thrilled to announce the second season of WePlay! Pushka League.

For the second season, our league will be divided into three regions with slightly different formats. These are the regions for WePlay! Pushka League Season 2:

  • Europe (includes CIS) 
  • Americas (North America and South America)
  • Asia (China and Southeast Asia)

In Europe and the Americas, the competition will take place from August 13 - September 13. The dates for the league in Asia will be announced soon.

16 teams will participate in the group stage of Division 1. They will be divided into two groups of eight. Each group will see teams play each other.

Super Finals for Division 1

The three best teams from each group advance to the Super Finals. The teams that take fourth and fifth place will enter the Play-in Stage to determine two more Super Finals participants.

The Super Finals is a double-elimination bracket with a prize pool of $210,000. All Super Finals participants will be invited back to Division 1 of WePlay! Pushka League Season 3. 

Division 2

Division 2 starts with two groups of four squads. Teams that take the third and fourth place will proceed to the Relegation bracket between Division 2 and 3.

The teams that take first and second place in their groups advance to the Relegation bracket between Division 1 and 2, joined by Division 1 teams that took sixth, seventh, and eighth place, as well as those who were defeated in the Play-in Stage. This Relegation bracket prize pool is $50,000.

The teams that place between first and eighth will return to Division 1 for WePlay! Pushka League Season 3. The rest of the teams will drop to Division 2.

Division 3

Eight teams will enter the league through open qualifiers and will be divided into two groups of four. Each group will see teams play each other. The teams that take first and second place in their groups will advance to the Relegation bracket between Division 2 and 3. The rest will be eliminated.

The prize pool of this Relegation bracket will be $5,000. The teams that place between first and fourth place will advance to Division 2 for WePlay! Pushka League Season 3. The rest will be eliminated.

The Americas will play in a similar format but with different prize pools.

Division 1 will sport twelve teams divided into two groups. During the group stage, each group will see teams play each other.

Division 1 Super Finals

The three best teams from each group will advance to the Super Finals. Group winners will be seeded to upper-bracket semifinals and the rest will go to upper-bracket quarterfinals. The teams that take fourth and fifth place in their groups will participate in the Play-in Stage, the winners of which will enter the first round of the Super Finals lower-bracket.

The Super Finals will be a double-elimination bracket with a prize pool of $40,000 in the Americas and $60,000 in Asia. All Super Finals participants will be invited back to Division 1 of WePlay! Pushka League Season 3.

Division 2

Eight teams will enter the league through open qualifiers and will be divided into two groups of four. During the group stage, each group will see teams play each other. The teams that take first and second place in their groups will advance to the Relegation bracket between Division 1 and 2. They will be joined by Division 1 teams that take sixth place, as well as those who were defeated in the Play-in Stage. 

The prize pool for this Relegation bracket will be $10,000 for the Americas and $15,000 for Asia. The teams that take between first and fourth place will advance to Division 1 for WePlay! Pushka League Season 3. The rest will drop to Division 2.
