Cyber TRAKTOR players are disqualified from WePlay! Pushka League Division 2.
As a result of the BO3 series between Cyber Legacy and Cyber TRAKTOR during WePlay! Pushka League, there have been changes in the roster of Division 2.
Our esports department and the analysts of WePlay! Pushka League carefully examined the matches and came to the conclusion that Cyber TRAKTOR players, with a high degree of probability, made bets on some intermediate results of their matches. Cyber TRAKTOR was suspended from participation in WePlay! Pushka League until the end of the investigation.
Cyber TRAKTOR made their own inquiry and found out that Artur “Retsu” Kotsoyev engaged in foul play. Although the organization made it clear to us that it condemns such actions, and offered to replace Retsu, the current roster is fully disqualified from the league. Retsu is banned from participating in WePlay! Esports events for a year (effective until May 2, 2021).
Team Unique will replace Cyber TRAKTOR in the league. Per agreement with the rest of the group participants, the new team will start with the same results that Cyber TRAKTOR had after the end of their last series.
“We understand that Cyber TRAKTOR is in complicated circumstances with its Dota 2 roster that is still on probation. It’s not easy to commit to such decisions, but we see no other choice if we want to prevent such incidents in the future.”
- WePlay! Esports Lead Esports Manager Anton “WarLocK” Tokarev.
“Thank you for the trust and an opportunity to participate in the next season of the league. We couldn’t predict what has happened. In the future, we will be controlling our players during official matches and practice more closely.”
- Cyber TRAKTOR representative Evgeny Belozertsev.
