From October 26 to November 7, 2021, WePlay Esports will be producing the Russian-speaking broadcast of PGL Major Stockholm 2021, a competition in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO).

The WePlay Esports media holding company has hosted multiple colorful CS:GO events such as WePlay! Lock and Load, two seasons of the Forge of Masters league, and WePlay! Clutch Island, a Regional Major Rankings (RMR) event in 2020. Each tournament had a unique theme which made it memorable and entertaining for the audience.

“This is the greatest CS:GO event WePlay Esports has had the privilege of working on up to this day. I’m glad to report that our team is ready to take up a new challenge and reinvent how a premier-level esports tournament can look one more time,” says Oleh Humeniuk, Chief Executive Officer at WePlay Esports.

WePlay Esports is already preparing the setting of the Russian-speaking broadcast of PGL Major Stockholm 2021. The range of show elements the company is working on includes the stage setup, broadcast talent outfits, augmented reality elements, set extension (“virtual” stage segment rendered in AR), broadcast graphics, pre-recorded content, and other elements.

The twenty-four teams will qualify for the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 via RMR events throughout the year. For the first time in the history of the game, a CS:GO Major will feature a $2,000,000 prize pool.
