It's time to tune in to the sandy beaches, exotic cocktails, sun loungers, and Instagram photo races. Below is all the key things for the upcoming festival of bliss and endless summer in one place.
Format
There will be 20 participating teams in the tournament:
- The eight candidates have already made their way through the open qualifications;
- The other eight are invited directly to the group stage;
- Four teams will join the battle at the playoff stage.
Dates
The main part of the tournament will be held from September 21 to September 28. It has two stages:
- Group Stage: September 21-24;
- Playoffs: September 25-28.
Group Stage
Sixteen participants are divided into four groups, four teams each. They will fight in the GSL format via Double Elimination (with opening matches, meetings of winners and losers, as well as decisive series).
All meetings, except decisive matches, will be held until one victory. The decisive matches — lower bracket's finals — will be played in the best of 3 series (up to two wins).
Playoffs
The eight teams hardened by the group stage will join the four teams that received invitations directly to the playoffs. Twelve participants will compete in matches with the Single Elimination grid, best of 3 format.
WePlay! Dota 2 Reshuffle Madness 2019 winner will be determined in the best of 5 series.
