All prize money earned by players during matches will be donated to the foundations supporting Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The WePlay Compete tournament platform launched a charity initiative — Play for Ukraine, a series of esports Dota 2 and League of Legends (LoL) online tournaments. Tournaments in both disciplines are held every day. All prize money earned by players during matches is transferred once a week in a single payment to the charity foundations supporting Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Registration for matches is free, with no limit on the number of tournaments in which you can take part. Tournaments will last until the end of the war on the territory of Ukraine. Anyone except residents of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus can take part in the initiative from anywhere in the world.
“As a company that has its roots in Ukraine, we want to support our country in these terrible times. Through our initiative, any esports fan can support Ukraine and contribute to our future victory”, says Oleksii Nogin, CEO of WePlay Compete.
