The Fakty ICTV website becomes official media partner of WePlay AniMajor Ukrainian-language broadcast

The Ukrainian-language broadcast of WePlay AniMajor, an official Dota Pro Circuit Major, will now be available on the social media of Fakty ICTV.
The Fakty ICTV website is a media partner of the Ukrainian-language WePlay AniMajor broadcast, organized jointly by esports media holding company WePlay Esports and the Ukrainian Esports Federation (UESF). You can now watch the tournament online on the Fakty ICTV YouTube channel, as well as its Facebook page.
Ukrainian-language broadcasts of esports tournaments are quite uncommon for the audience, but they are an important tool for popularizing the national culture.

“The nightingale language is flowing as we commentate the Dota 2 Major, that’s a fact! Join the broadcast of fun games in Ukrainian on the official channels,” says Oleksii “yXo” Maletskyi, host of the Ukrainian-language broadcast of WePlay AniMajor and talent at WePlay Esports.
The WePlay AniMajor broadcast in Ukrainian is organized by WePlay Esports and the Ukrainian Esports Federation. UESF representatives support the media holding company’s desire to promote both the Ukrainian language among the esports community and the development of esports in Ukraine.

The Fakty ICTV website was chosen as a partner for a good reason — it’s one of the most-read news resources, and its social media pages have hundreds of thousands of subscribers. Joining efforts in covering esports in Ukrainian will help promote our national language among the population, and even more Ukrainians will be able to get acquainted with the esports industry that’s trending today.

“ICTV is one of the few TV channels in Ukraine providing daily sports news. Our goal is to ensure that the viewers get the most up-to-date information about sports achievements on the national and international scene. Today, esports is also entering the global trends, so we will broadcast esports tournaments on the website and on the social media of Fakty ICTV in cooperation with WePlay Esports. This will help Ukrainians engage with the new sports culture, and esports players will get even more fans,” shared Olga Tyschuk, head of the ICTV Internet projects department.
WePlay AniMajor is taking place until June 13, 2021, at the media holding company’s WePlay Esports Arena Kyiv. The total prize pool of the tournament is $500,000, as well as 2,700 DPC points.
