As the organizer of the tournament, our team has indeed made the decision to allow players from the Russian Federation to participate in the WePlay Academy League Season 4.

This decision was made based on the fact that none of the members of the roster are on the personal international or state sanctions lists for their activities. Neither the coach nor the underage players have been seen calling for violence, involved in incidents of hate speech, or supporting the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

Playing with a neutral tag is a common phenomenon not only in esports tournaments (in the same way, Russian teams participated in tournaments of ESL, PGL, and other operators) but also in international competitions for traditional sports. If the players violate their neutral status, the reaction of the organizer will be immediate.
