The international technology holding TECHIIA has allocated UAH 100 million for the needs of Ukraine's defense and continues increasing this fund. The esports media holding WePlay Holding, part of TECHIIA, joined the fund.
The company's full-cycle assistance is conducted through the public organization Techiia Foundation. Allocated funds are already directed for the purchase of ammunition, protection gear, clothing and footwear, military first aid kits for the Armed Forces, Territorial Defense Forces, and logistics throughout Ukraine and abroad.
The fund keeps growing, and anyone who feels to help Ukraine financially can transfer funds to the Techiia Foundation by the link. The amount of one transfer is limited to UAH 149,999 (EUR 4,500), but the number of transactions is limitless. Reports on the use of these funds and assistance will be published regularly on the Foundation's website.
"Most of the WePlay Holding team is Ukrainian. We created esports projects that impressed the whole world. And today Ukrainian cities are hit by missiles of the Russian Federation. We have united the resources and capabilities of all TECHIIA companies to help Ukraine fight the enemy. We want to live in peace in our homeland - and we will do everything for that. Glory to Ukraine,” comments Oleh Humeniuk, CEO of WePlay Holding.
It is worth mentioning that the Techiia Foundation has been implementing charitable projects in the healthcare area since 2019. The focus is on the purchase of equipment and medicines for hospitals working with pediatric oncology, as well as the rehabilitation of children after difficult treatment. Despite the war, the NGO Techiia Foundation will continue to work on these projects and even scale them.
